Aluminum Strainers provide a dimensionally stable support that withstands greater fabric tension and is guaranteed to never warp. Our strainers are simple to hang on french cleats and because fabrics cannot produce an impression in the perimiter over time as in wood supports aluminum strainers can be re-stretched over and over again.

We now offer a NEW Hybrid Wood Panel option. These panels combine the strength and stability of a 2 inch aluminum or magnesium perimeter with our torsion box constructed plywood cores. The added strength and durability of hybrid wood panels will benefit artist who work larger.
Note: All structures that incorporate seamed cores are designed to have stretched canvas or linen.

All wood surfaces can be wrapped with fabric, or painted on directly, primed or unprimed. We offer wood panels with gesso directly applied on the wood surface. They are sealed with shellac first for acid protection.
